  1. Batters who are not doing well at the plate tend to hit long foul balls.
  2. Sox starters have to be near perfect, not so much to achieve a win, but mainly to avoid achieving a loss. Pitching with this offense must be fun as hell.
  3. Also need to be hypnotized into believing they can hit with RISP.
  4. Sox team has to be hypnotized into believing they're not at Fenway.
  5. It's better to be lucky than good. At this point the Sox are neither.
  6. The 3rd base coach is well aware of the Sox lack of offense. He's seen too many Sox runners die at 2nd and 3rd.
  7. The best way for the Sox to win at Fenway is to replace about 70% of the team.
  8. Today's weather at Fenway is a good representation of this Sox team.

  14. IMHO, for the Sox to add a good power bat to the line-up Arias will have to be part of the package.
  15. And the fans who do show up don't HAVE to be there. Those with season tickets are screwed.
