  1. I was thinking Casas could be the clubhouse leader, but one would have to have a major in Bill Waltonese to understand what he is saying.
  2. Glad to see you're back. Thought you might have been traded to the White Sox.
  3. Can Houck win his 1st game since the ASB? Stay tuned. Will the BP and the offense and the defense ruin another good start? Probably, but stay tuned anyway.
  4. Doesn't matter. 3 runs were already enough.
  5. Very good start by Kutter tonight. Mets' booth throws the word 'great' around like a frisbee. Half a dozen times in this series they've referred to Devers as a great hitter. IMHO, Devers is a very good hitter. I have a list of whom I consider 'great' hitters, and Devers ain't on it.
  6. His union told him not to worry. It's a lifetime job.
  7. BTW, last night's HP chUMP had 17 mistakes. The most of any chUMP working HP yesterday.
  8. I know what a 78-84 team looks like, and this SOX team is a 78-84 team.
  9. The SOX would have to finish their remaining 24 games at 8-16. Easily doable.
  10. I imagine this HP chUMP has a food allowance. I don't understand why, because he eats shite.
  11. I believe many SOX fans are already pissed off. They will never boycott Fenway.
  12. 78-84 would give them the same W/L record 3 years in a row. Don't you realize how rare that would be? Perhaps it''s actually never been done before.
  13. However, teams like KC and the Twinkies keep allowing the SOX to remain in the hunt.
  14. I'd like them to finish over .500. Baby steps. But if that's not gonna happen, I'm rooting for 78-84.
  15. My bad. Foxx's 92 extra base hits is a Red Sox record.
  16. Right now Duran has 78 extra base hits. Maybe I should have said he has a shot at breaking Foxx's record. He'll need 15 more with only 25 games remaining counting this one.
  17. Duran has a good shot at breaking Jimmie Foxx's 1938 MLB record of 92 extra base hits. That'll be interesting to keep an eye out for.
  18. If his shoulder is injured, then I agree with you. Bring up one of the prospects to give us something to watch, besides Duran.
  19. Maybe he's injured, but I've seen nothing in his swing that verifies that.
  20. I'm using my eyes and not those misleading stats. BTW, his stats are dropping faster than an Acme anvil.
  21. Valdez showing some leather out there.
