    What I found was a 3 pitch inning is just called a 3 pitch inning.

    Did some detective work and discovered there is no accepted adjective for 3 outs on 3 pitches. Immaculate is reserved only for 9 pitches, 9 strikes, 3 outs.

    The hapless Giants aren't going to the PO's, so why not shorten Devers' season.

    They usually swing too hard and go on the IL. This was different.

    Devers has been placed on the 60 day IL due to core muscle injury.

    I guess when it gets down to the nitty gritty, It was Casas' fault that Devers was traded I don't miss him. However, I did get a kick out of Devers lack of self-awareness. Devers appeared to be the only person in baseball who didn't realize he was the worst defensive 3rd baseman in MLB. He actually believed Bragman, perhaps the best defensive 3rd baseman in MLB, was gonna play 2nd base. Devers will always be his own worst enemy.

    The object isn't to hit the base runner.. Two wrongs don't make an out.

    He had an excellent start prior to this one against the O's. So 'finally' is inappropriate here.
