Here's an interesting stat. In 2024 season African Americans only comprised 6 percent of MLB players while Latino players were at 30 percent. In 1991 when the study began, African American players were at 17 percent and it's been dropping ever since. Strange why this is hardly ever discussed by MLB .

Narvaez has to be the Sox #1 catcher for obvious reasons. So after all is said and done the Sox traded Betts for a backup catcher.
