  1. Blows all of these away? I seriously doubt that. Hendrix was iconic, but so were most of those other artists.
  2. Two singles from the 60's that I never tire of listening are Jenny Take A Ride by Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels. The other one is Time Won't Let Me by The Outsiders.
  3. Great songs and great artists. I'm not a fan of the Buckingham/Nicks version of Fleetwood Mac, although I did enjoy the music of the original band.
  4. I believe we're both on the same page regarding '60's music. Damn, there was a ton of excellent albums during that period. I can't believe I left Pet Sounds off my list.
  5. My 10 favorite albums from the 60's in no particular order. Strange Days ---------Doors Forever Changes----Love Odyssey & Oracle ---Zombies Revolver -----;-------;-Beatles Bookends -------------S & G Surrealistic Pillow ---Airplane Arthur ---------------Kinks Let It Bleed--------Stones The first album------Led Zeppelin Highway 61 Revisited----Dylan
  6. The problem was he should have gone on the IL instead of the DL.
  7. Someday Moon we should discuss the great band Moby Grape and how Columbia Records screwed them over.
  8. The Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow is one of the greatest debut albums of all time and one of the best psychedelic albums of the '60's.
  9. We Built This City On Rock 'n' Roll is one of the worst rock/pop songs ever. The Starship, IMHO, was terrible.
  10. I remember in '75 after 3 rainouts that before the 6th game started NBC televised Abbott & Costello Who's On First? The greatest baseball skit before arguably the greatest baseball game.
  11. Devers update: One for his last 15, including 12 K's. Also, Devers has a total of 4 RBI as a Giant. Thanks Giants.
  12. Grand Salami.and an inside the park. Take a bow Abreu.
  13. Bregman has injured the same quad twice in the last few years. This may make him less attractive for a long term contract on the FA market. This probably means the Sox will be taking that risk the next two seasons.
  14. He's the highest paid coach in MLB history.
