The only thing good is the one year.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
31 million for one year. Ouch!
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Sonny Delight.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
That should end up on funniest moments in baseball.

How do I really feel about Roman? Well, I wouldn't trade him for anyone in MLB.

Winning on opening day is nice, especially on the road

Should be fun watching Anthony this season. Mentally and physically he just smells of greatness.

Hey guys. Took me awhile to sign in. Crochet continues to be amazing. Go SOX!

Should Albacora be canned in water or oil?
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Why would Brez do something stupid like that?
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, BREG also sucked longer than just September. I was being kind.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Unfortunately, it's not the GM's decision regarding the disappointing Bregman.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The 19 mil/yr guy had a very good September. The 40 mil/yr guy sucked in September. I say keep the former and hope the latter opts out.

Hard to be an all-star when you get platooned against LH's. Trade him for whatever Breslow can get. Plus he's another injury about to happen.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm not assuming anything. Paying Breg another 40 mil or maybe 80 mil is nothing short of ridiculous. Maybe obscene is a better word.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
My biggest hope for the 2026 season is that Breggy opts out.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Here's a realistic look at the 2026 season. I seriously doubt the Sox BP will be as good next season as it was this season. Hopefully, it will be, but the odds are against it.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    That's your opinion, dipstick.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I didn't say the NL was superior.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The '25 Sox overachieved to make the PO's in the weak AL. The Sox BP overachieved the most. When a team overachieves, that usually means there's many holes to correct.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Just like Bregman?
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Baby Ward at the hospital.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The main thing I learned from this series was that this Sox team is the weakest of any Sox PO team in my lifetime. That being said, congrats to the Sox for overachieving this season.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I was referring to these PO's. In these PO's the Sox had one good starter. Is that clear enough?
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Let me correct that. Right now the Sox have one good starting pitcher.
