  1. A few years ago I posted a big THANK YOU to the Dodgers' organization for cleaning up the mess here in Boston. Now I want to post a big THANK YOU to both the Toronto and LA Angels' organizations.
  2. Anyway, with Mitch having the sore knee, it's a win-win going with Pearce.
  3. Cora's the manager, but I believe it doesn't take a genius to keep a hot hitter in the line-up. And maybe Cora will. Or he won't.
  4. Funny thing about solo HR's; whether they go 500 feet or 315 feet, they only count as one run.
  5. I don't think anyone s/b surprised about Kinsler. He's been good his whole career. Getting him was a steal.
  6. Only ugly if one is a Yankem fan. I think it's quite beautiful and I hope tomorrow is just as beautiful. I live in Yankem country here in central NY and Yankem fans are more annoying than mosquitos.
  7. Hopefully, Pearce starts tomorrow. But, with Cora, one never knows.
  8. Looks like the SOX just needed a visit by the Yankems to get the offense going again.
  9. Wouldn't be surprised. It's a regular MASH unit. Injury prone team? Definitely. Except for JBJ, who is tough as nails.
  10. Michael Kaye just mentioned that the SOX BP is their weakness. Yup, maybe if the SOX could acquire Holder, they'd be much improved.
  11. Lost in all the excitement is Kinsler. Another great pick-up by DD, along with Pearce.
  12. Relievers are day to day. When they say box of chocolates, they're talking about relief pitchers.
  13. Except for the Yankem SS, he'd have had a great 5.
  14. Kelly, Brasier, Thornburg, and ? for innings 6-9.
  15. Johnson's running out of gas. Not sure he had a full tank to begin with. Just finish this inning,
  16. 10 unanswered runs. How many times does one get to say that during the season? OK, Sox need a shut down inning.
  17. Highway Patrol: 10-4! Game still isn't official. It's been like a rain delay, except it's raining baseballs.
  18. The ump is approaching 100 pitches. He'll have to be replaced soon.
  19. He should have walked JBJ.
  20. Home plate umpiring has been bad all season. These guys answer to no one, so the bad umpiring will continue.
  21. Please keep Holder in the game. The Yankem booth is having panic attacks.
  22. Holder? More like Folder.
  23. This ump has been terrible for both teams. No one expects these turds to call a good game. The best we can ask for is that their s*** strike zone is consistent.
