  1. Suzuki looks like a Harley against us.
  2. Devers returns and Nunez shits at the plate. Coincidence? I don't think so.
  3. Pearce is doing his part.
  4. The Braves are doing their best to make this a blow out, but the Boston bats will have none of it.
  5. Five innings, rightly so, doesn't qualify as a quality start, but it does qualify for a win.
  6. Don't blame the BP. Blame the starters who keep overexposing the BP.
  7. I really believe if the Rays were in the NL East, they'd be in 1st place.
  8. Good way to start a shut down inning.
  9. Well, Sandy is consistent. Sandy's ahead in the count 3-1 and he swings as if the pitch count was 0-2. Oh well, this is the price one pays for having personal catchers.
  10. Newcomb would have had to walk 6 more guys.
  11. If POR was batting 8th, who knows? Fact is POR is a better hitter than Leon, which isn't saying a hell of a lot.
  12. As a #4 pitcher Porcello is about as good or bad as one would expect him to be. His ERA says it all.
  13. Anyone remember the last time Betts had a hit in the 1st inning?
  14. I'd prefer POR batting 8th and Leon batting 9th.
  15. R. Porcello 15-7 4.27 vs S. Newcomb 11-7 3.85 Porcello is due for a good start. Hopefully!
  16. 95 wins at this point with the team's best pitcher missing his last 5 starts; that's pretty impressive.
  17. A lot of hard hit balls that inning.
  18. Taking advantage of other team's mistakes has been a very consistent positive for the SOX this year.
  19. Picking up Kinsler helps make up for the train wreck that is Eovaldi.
  20. Too bad there isn't a Viagra for baseball offense, because lately in so many games the SOX have only been able to get it up for one inning or no innings.
  21. The SOX offense is like a car accident where the policeman says "alright people, keep moving; there's nothing to see here."
  22. Eovaldi threw 39 pitches in that 1st inning. That's a number you'd hope to see after 3 innings. Pretty impressive.
