  1. The really sad part is that he's the best starter the SOX have in the farm system.
  2. Those runs will be charged to the kitten.
  3. Poor kid. But he's young; plenty of time to change professions.
  4. Shouldn't Beeks be pitching behind a screen?
  5. Someone's going to get killed around that Pesky Pole.
  6. That was a perfect example of the 3rd spot hitter protecting the clean-up hitter. The pitcher isn't going to walk 2 batters in a row.
  7. Maybe the powers that be should make the bases out of foam rubber.
  8. Just using the law of average or randomness, one would think the SOX system could have developed one good starter after so many, many years.
  9. OB, please do not use triple-A stats to make a point. With all the bad teams in the MLB, just how many good players are left in triple-A?
  10. Beeks now owes Betts a steak dinner. Kid's gonna lose money being brought up.
  11. Hey, stranger things have happened.
  12. Seriously, let's give Beeks another inning before we bury him. Because of a couple fragile starters on the SOX, we really may need this kid in the future.
  13. Trade Beeks for Britton. The Orioles is a perfect place for Beeks.
  14. I believe Beeks is actually Henry Owens.
  15. 9 pitch 1st inning. When's the last time we've seen that?
  16. Btw, as most of you already know, that 2001 Seattle club didn't make it to the WS. To further the point, the 2006 Cards won 83 games and won the WS.
  17. Most wins in the regular MLB season is shared by the 1906 Cubs (116-36) and the 2001 Mariners (116-46). To break that record the SOX would have to finish at 54-16; a winning percentage of .771.
  18. I know triple-A stats don't always equate in the big show, but 98 is 98 no matter where one is pitching.
  19. Nice 1st impression, Mr. Brasier.
