    What Brasier is doing based on where the SOX found him doesn't happen too often in this game. Kudos to whomever scouted him.

    Pitcher-phobia throwing to 1st base prevents Beni from enduring a lot of cuss words here. He has stunk lately.

    Unlike POM,who, at least, allowed the OF to make great plays on the hard hit balls against him, Thornybird would have required much taller OF's to help him.

    Actually, nice job by the SOX OF. POM allowed the Chicago batters to highlight the SOX OF defense. POM has nothing.

    Having the best defensive OF in baseball prevents the SOX pitching staff from being worse than they already are.

    I wonder what WAR number these nerds would have given Ted Williams because he wasn't a great defensive outfielder and he didn't steal bases? Note to numbers guys: Hitting a baseball is still the most difficult part of the game.
