The SOX have to be leading the league in average number of pitches per inning.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
At this point, I can't help but think that all the everyday players on the SOX last year had a career season, except, maybe, JD. Hopefully, the future will prove me wrong.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I just hope no one messes with Chavis's swing.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I believe Chavis has a ton more baseball instincts than Devers.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    He's out with back spasms.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Of course, not having JD's bat in the line-up didn't help Price's nice effort today.

Devers and JBJ are 2 holes that need to be repaired(replaced.) I can't help but wonder if Devers hitting that dinger against Chapman a couple of years ago hasn't given the SOX FO false hope. Also, his defense leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen little improvement in that area since he's been brought up.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
So if the SOX trade both Leon and JBJ as a package deal, the SOX will receive a litter box full of cat s*** and the cat.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
And if that isn't enough, Leon will be added to the deal.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
How about trading JBJ and John Henry's Liverpool soccer team for Trout.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    or just any farmer.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Let's trade Thornburg for Buck Farmer.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
After this game is over the PA guy should play WALK DON'T RUN by The Ventures.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    After the shock wore off.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I have to admit it's a better line-up than the ones I used to see on DRAGNET.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The SOX run deficit has been reduced.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
JBJ. He does give a buck.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Too bad he isn't on the SOX. We'd have a field day with that.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Buck Farmer. Hell of a name.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
How about a wild pitch just to add some variety.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    "down goes bradley." ummm.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
By season's end the Tigers will be under .500. By season's end the SOX will be over .500. That's all I've got.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
VAZ has been stroking it pretty good.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
You made this mess and I've got nobody to get you out of it.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
28 pitches. That's Barnes not making himself available tomorrow.
