    Seeing the size of the M's 3rd baseman's glove, and he still couldn't catch it reminded me of the early days of baseball when the fielding gloves were about the same size as the fielder's hand. That may have helped explain the huge batting averages at the time.

    Back in 2000, Pedro finished the season with an ERA of 1.74. In a game against, I believe, the Mariners he gave up 9 earned runs.

    The Mariners' feed just showed an interesting stat. The SOX have 3 of the 4 starters with the most wins since the 2012 season. Price, Sale, Verlander, and Porcello.
