  1. One thing's for sure; his value has increased.
  2. Beautiful throw by SWI.
  3. My bad. He has 147 hits; I forgot to subtract his extra base hits from his total hits. Your figure is correct.
  4. JBJ! Not sure Leon would have scored on that.
  5. SWI has also done a nice job behind the plate again.
  6. Nice job by BJ again.
  7. Before steroids made a joke of offensive stats, it was a big accomplishment for a hitter to end the season with 400 or more total bases. In fact, Joe DiMaggio did it in 1941 and it wasn't done again until 1978 when Jim Rice accomplished that feat. Right now JD has 364 total bases.
  8. Cash maybe should walk X-man.
  9. Considering what the brass gave Cash to work with this year, Cash is definitely a top contender for MOTY.
  10. Nunez is a completely different player at 3rd than at 2nd. This definitely improves the infield defense; Kinsler playing 2nd doesn't hurt either. Kudos to Holt for his excellent stint at 2nd base.
  11. When a shift is employed that prevents the defense from executing a DP, that is completely f'ing stupid.
  12. JBJ plays center like a walk in the park.
  13. Btw, that was one hell of a catch and crash by Tampa's RF.
  14. Well, Injury-Rod s/b back soon.
  15. Keeping an eye on BJ's pitch count.
  16. 1978. No games are meaningless.
  17. Hate giving games away no matter what the standings say.
  18. This SOX team is so good that they can usually win despite what Cora's thinking.
  19. I like Gabe as a manager. I liked him as a player, also.
  20. Credit where credit's due. Devers did hit the ball hard.
  21. Note to Cora: Leaving ineffective relievers in the inning too long will not play in the playoffs.
