  1. Can s*** be holy? Then Holy s***! The Yankems may be paying Chapman, but the SOX own him.
  2. Chapman doing a 3 run lead Kimbrel impersonation.
  3. OK, put on your rally dragonflies.
  4. If you wiggle your head and listen to Justin Bieber, a blue jay will s*** on your head.
  5. Chapman, another A-hole who's found his way to the Yankems. The team is an A-hole magnet.
  6. I'll have more of what he's having.
  7. If the SOX can't get more than 90 pitches from the 200 million dollar man, they're in trouble. Also, hindsight is golden.
  8. I'll have what he's having.
  9. I mentioned earlier that the SOX have a tougher remaining schedule than the Yankems, but I just remembered that the Yankems have a worse record against teams under .500 than teams over .500. Plus, the Yankems still have 9 games left against the O's.
  10. SoxHop's gotta brand new bag. Hey, taking 3 of 4 sure beats a kiss your sister split.
  11. After two straight games under 3 hours, things are back to normal with this 4 hour marathon.
  12. Actually we agree. The reason Price shouldn't have gone more than 6 was because of his pitch count, which was caused by his control issues. Also the bad umpiring added to Price's pitch count.
  13. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about bad HP umpiring. It's actually a disgrace in so many games.
  14. Price's control was not that good tonight and his pitch count attests to that. Price has to go more than 6 against good teams because in the playoffs that's all he's gonna see is good teams.
  15. The hardest job for a manager is whether to leave a pitcher in or take him out. For a rookie manager it's even harder. I think Madden probably has the best feel for that part of the job.
  16. The SOX still have 6 games remaining against the Guardians and 3 games remaining against the Astros.
  17. I posted earlier that this is the worst crew in the league.
  18. The game is played by humans and these things can happen. In fact, they happen a few times during a long season. It's imperative to keep these kind of games to a minimum and the good teams do.
  19. The SOX have a tougher schedule finishing the season than the Yankems. Too early to make predictions, but I would rather be 7.5 games up than behind.
  20. Taking 3 of 4 w/o Sale is impressive and everyone on this thread would have taken that before the series started. Tanaka pitched a good game and the Yankem BP is their strong point.
  21. That's why BP ERA is misleading because two of those runs Hembree gave up are charged to Price. Our BP could be our Achille's Heel in the playoffs.
  22. Never ask Price to throw over 100 pitches.
  23. I guess Cora is happy with 3.
  24. Sweeping is never easy, but it becomes harder when the team trying to sweep hands the game to the opponent.
