    Fortunately for Mookie, MVP voting only reflects the regular season. However, I have more faith that Betts will turn his offense around than I do in the SOX starting pitching in this series. And I don't even want to think about the BP.

    Anything can happen no matter how slim the odds of that happening are.

    Personally, I'd prefer Eovaldi pitching tomorrow with Price pitching the 3rd game in Houston. Less pressure for Price on the road, and for Price the less pressure the better.

    Hey, the SOX got thru the 1st round finally and they did it against the hated Yankems. However, Houston is a different animal. I'm pretty sure if they hadn't lost so many everyday players to injury earlier in the season, they would have led the league in wins. With spineless Price pitching tomorrow, that will probably be the last game we'll see at Fenway this year.

    The best one word description I can give to this game so far is UGLY.

    The last real 3rd baseman the SOX had was Beltre. The genius, known as Theo, let him go.

    The difference in this game is one team has a real 3rd baseman and the other team has a utility infielder playing 3rd.

    That run gets charged to Nunez, not Kelly.

    That Kelly had to try and pitch 2 innings again demonstrates the mediocrity of this SOX BP.

    VER walks 3 in a row and Betts swings at the 1st pitch. Not really smart.

    Until Sale can pitch a full season at top performance can he really be considered an ACE? As much as I dislike Veralnder, he is very much what an ACE pitcher really is.

    The better team will probably win this ALCS, but I still haven't given up hope on the SOX.
