  1. Has muscle head Sanchez learned to speak any English yet? He's been here long enough.
  2. If most of you think JD is injured, then Beni must be in the throws of death.
  3. Anyone here remember the last time the SOX hit a dinger with men on base?
  4. What a surprise. A solo HR. Not your fault JD.
  5. This pathetic crew just magnifies how much ESPN hates baseball.
  6. I believe I'll watch this game without the mute. I feel like enjoying some total pain tonight. SOX losing and listening to A-roid at the same time; it doesn't get any more painful than that. Go Bruins!
  7. His being inexpensive also makes him more attractive to another team. Of course, the SOX don't have to execute a trade. They can just continue on with the team they have. But if you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
  8. One other thing regarding this swoon by the SOX. This team does not appear to have a player leader in the clubhouse. Besides being a great hitter Ortiz was also a great motivator in the clubhouse. Pedey was the likely guy to fill that role, but with his own cross to bear, that probably isn't happening.
  9. Plus the SOX minor league is DEADWOOD.
  10. He's the only SOX player who could be traded that has any value. You're not gonna get something good w/o giving up something good. So actually, it's a compliment.
  11. Don't be surprised if Beni is traded. The SOX better not wait too long because as his progressive downslide continues he'll be as worthless in a trade as JBJ, Nunez, Leon, and Pearce.
  12. At this point I don't think it's too much of a stretch to predict an Astros/Dodgers WS.
  13. Yup, that's why Houston won over 100 games last year. Screw the excuses. Last year just about everyone on the SOX overachieved and this year they're more back to normal. This is a .500 ball club as it stands now. Get used to it. There's nothing wrong with JD's back; he's slumping. Just don't expect the numbers he put up last year. Also, don't expect a WS appearance in the near future either. In fact, the next time the SOX are in the WS, Cora won't even be the manager.
  14. Chara, for reasons unknown. was given a one year contract for next year. Utterly ridiculous.
  15. Ready for what? A leg transplant?
  16. A plus to having two American teams competing for the Cup is that there's only one national anthem.
  17. His job is to catch, not polish a turd.
  18. I expect to see a lot of hitting from Boston; that's why I'm turning the channel to the BRUINS' game.
  19. Gee, it's like having Michael Kay on the thread. What an honor.
  20. I love the 'mute' button on my TV.
  21. He's also an arrogant a-hole.
  22. I think you're referring to Weber.
  23. Two big things this SOX team is missing this year; a true ACE and a true CLOSER.
  24. 3 K's would be nice about now.
