  1. Gretzky was living proof that women could play in the NHL.
  2. Another stat from the KC feed. The SOX have the highest slugging percentage and OPS against RH relievers in MLB.
  3. Devers only one I'm voting for at this point.
  4. I watched YAZ play for years and I never saw him smile during a game. Of course, YAZ wasn't being paid millions of dollars. That might have made him smile.
  5. When it comes to KC, their pitcher Glenn provides the spark, man.
  6. Btw, if you want to complain about a team lacking mental fortitude, you're watching them tonight. And I'm not talking about KC.
  7. I believe you're way off base on that. This team had the most player time missed due to injuries in the NHL and still finished 2nd in total points. The 2 games the BRUINS lost to the Blues, the BRUINS were only playing with 5 defensemen due to injuries.
  8. Whether it's 6(which I still see happening) or 7, the BRUINS will win the Cup. This team is used to playing injured.
  9. Syracuse, but I refer to it as Poorexcuse.
  10. I heard he may have a broken jaw. Don't expect to see him in the remainder of the series. Bruins are so short on defensemen they may have to suit up Bobby Orr.
  11. Because I live in central NY, all SOX/Yankem games, whether home or away, are always on YES, unless they're picked up by a major network.
  12. Agreed. I always mute the YES broadcasts. Ken Simpleton really is as dumb as he looks.
  13. It was free on ESPN Sunday night.
  14. Sean McDonough got fired mainly because he did criticize the team.
  15. I actually learn more about the SOX when I'm getting feeds from the opposing teams' broadcasts than I do from NESN.
  16. We were in the same ballpark on that one.
  17. It's always about the money, so I'd guess it was to save on ground crew work.
  18. The SOX have already lost 3 to the O's this season. Definitely inexcusable.
  19. Never understood why bad hitters with some speed don't learn the art of bunting. I'm talking to you, JBJ.
  20. Too bad the SOX aren't at Fenway.
  21. I think E-rod suffers from a syndrome I've seen other pitchers endure, like Joe Kelly. It's called the million dollar arm and 10 cent brain syndrome.
  22. Interesting stat that you won't get from NESN. E-rod with runners in scoring position allows a .365 BA and an OPS of over .1100, which is the highest in MLB. IOW, he's not really very good.
  23. I prefer Smuckers' preserves.
