  1. POR's ERA last year was over 4. No reason to believe it won't be over 4 again this year.
  2. Wasn't that special?
  3. Is Pedey still year to year?
  4. Sam Travis would be a good fit for Texas.
  5. That would be great. Hate to wear out the pen before April.
  6. That guy could be the 3rd base version of Dick Stuart.
  7. Hard to force an error when you stand like a statue and don't swing.
  8. One more error or wild pitch or balk or passed ball and this game is tied.
  9. Obviously, I don't much about him. I was just surprised when I found out he was 29.
  10. Seattle's defense is offensive.
  11. Seattle's Beckham looks like a pretty good ballplayer. He's actually a few years older than Betts and Beni.
  12. Again, looking at the bright side, the BP has looked good so far.
  13. You make a good point, but it could be argued that JD is the best hitter on the SOX.
  14. To me it means FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD.
  15. That is a much better plan than batting him 2nd.
  16. Mitch has to make himself believe that every time he's at the plate he's pinch hitting.
  17. You'd have to go back to Doubront.
  18. Good point. But who would you rather have with those 80 more PA's? Beni or Betts?
  19. Can't argue with that. The question that bothers me is how well will Sale adjust if he can no longer throw 95+.
  20. As bad as the pitching has been, it would have been worse w/o Betts and JBJ playing great 'D' in the OF.
  21. Not crazy at all. It is way too early to panic. Most of us will know when it's the right time to panic.
  22. When the SOX do get their first big inning, I guarantee it will be big.
  23. Pretty much the same score as yesterday's game. Only difference is Mitch won't be able to PH.
  24. Well, the Yankems did lose to the lowly Orioles at home this afternoon. There's that.
