Thanks, Dewey.
-
Also, JBJ seemed to be in a groove. Oh well, WTF.
-
Maybe there's something in JD's contract that specifies he has to play a certain number of games in the OF. Other than that it's a real head scratcher. Oh well, WTF.
-
I think we should extend Jung's contract.
-
Another shutout by the SOX pitching staff. Ho-Hum.
-
A close shave pitch can be helpful setting up the next pitch.
-
That can't be HARVEY. I can see him.
-
This country is so broken that even duct tape won't fix it. Similar to the O's.
-
Like everything else it's all about the money. HR's sell tickets. That's why MLB wasn't in that big a hurry to end the 'steroid era.'
-
Maybe they should call it 'bat person.'
-
Can you picture Nolan working with a pitch count? Hell, the guy would be at 100 pitches by the 4th inning in most games.
-
To anyone who lives in NE, do you get NESN as part of your basic cable package or do you pay a separate fee for it? Here in CNY, YES comes with my basic cable. If I was a Yankem fan, that would be great. I pay @ $200.00 for Extra Innings, which motivates me to watch every SOX game.

Well-deserved hand by the fans.
-
That was a Leslie Nielsen move by the HP ump.
-
Devers' wooden bat may be transformed to silver at season's end.
-
Good call by Joe, but that's the last place Joe should be standing.
-
E-rod picked a good night to go 7 shutout innings. Very good outing.
-
Btw, the pitcher who is the MLB career leader in SO's is also the MLB career leader in BB's.
-
No question. But currently his lack of mobility should be a concern to him.
-
Back in the early '60's the O's had a pitcher in their farm system(I don't remember his name) who consistently threw 100+mph. His only problem was he couldn't throw strikes, so he never made it to the big show. But as OB just said "he had a lively arm."
-
This time it's an elbow issue.
-
If the umpires' union decides to go on strike because of that, MLB can just bring in SCAB robots.
-
When playing the O's, I'm sure most managers tell his pitcher "don't let Mancini beat you."
-
He actually is a good caller of balls and strikes, which, as we know, is very rare in MLB.
-
Better yet, he should wear his home plate umping gear.
