  1. It could be worse. The SOX could have given Sale a 10 year extension. This in the new Sale. You'll have to get used to it.
  2. The SOX best hitter being out of the line-up again doesn't help. The SOX worst hitter not batting 9th doesn't help. The line-up could be worse. It could be Pearce, JBJ, and Leon batting 7-9. UGH!!!
  3. Glasnow---4-0---1.53ERA Sale---0-4---7.43ERA Beni Betts Moreland X-man Devers Chavis Pearce JBJ VAZ Glasnow not exactly the type of pitcher to get an offense going. Sale will have to perform like the ACE he is being paid to be.
  4. Yes, and he also plays 1st base.
  5. Actually, he had a +6 going into tonight's game. The BRUINS lost tonight mainly because their top 2 lines sucked. Bergeron is either playing hurt or has aged 10 years since the regular season ended. Pastrnak has been terrible for most of the PO's. He'll probably be fired by Dunkin' Donuts.
  6. The truth is that Trout brings fans to the ballpark. That means profits and profits for ownership outweigh rings.
  7. What they paid Trout will hamper improvements in the future.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if DD isn't shopping JBJ around the league. I doubt a NL team would be interested because they already have a pitcher batting in the line-up. Hopefully, DD can secure an average CF who can, at least, put the bat on the ball.
  9. My bad. I always thought that rule was to prevent double plays. At least, if nothing else, I learned something today.
  10. Well, all I can say after this disappointing loss is GO BRUINS!
  11. You are correct, sir. Thanks for educating me.
  12. Strange the infield fly rule wasn't called.
  13. Note to Cora: Except when Leon's catching, please bat JBJ 9th in the line-up. Btw, Cora, JBJ and Leon should never be in the same line-up. Here's an amazing stat; JBJ's OPS is lower than Ted Williams' BA in 1941.
  14. They may have used it all up last year.
  15. Another one I didn't think of was catcher's interference. I would have included error, but the batter actually has to hit the ball for that to happen.
  16. But then you put the go ahead run on 2nd. However, with JBJ batting next I tend to agree.
  17. Needed a wild pitch, passed ball or balk. The Rays' catcher put on a clinic.
  18. The guy I dis gets a hit; the guy I praise K's. Oh, well.
  19. Alright! Devers comes thru nicely.
  20. OB:"Liveliest the crowd has been today." No shite; hard to be lively when your team has 0 runs.
  21. Hans Solo, but BETTer than nothing.
