  1. Speaking of CF's, back in the 50's when NY had 3 major league teams the CF's were Mays, Mantle and Snyder. Now MLB has Trout.
  2. Not often one sees both team's CF's batting 9th.
  3. E-rod is a #3 at best. And he's the SOX best starter.
  4. The SOX starting staff leads MLB in Least Bang for the Buck.
  5. G. Sparkman 3-7 5.58 ERA vs E-rod 13-5 4.19 ERA
  6. I know you like him and obviously there's nothing wrong with that. He is a Gold Glove CF. But, imho, most of his career offensively with the SOX has been brutal.
  7. Thanks. You can pretty well guess I've given up on this team when I'm asking about the price of precious metals.
  8. SOX won't get much for him in a trade, especially from the NL, who already have their pitchers batting 9th.
  9. Nice to know, but I was referring to which award, based on weight, would bring in more money?
  10. 'WILD THING.' Speaking of nicknames, most anyone on the SOX starting staff could wear that nickname.
  11. But they both have Gold Gloves. Just for shits and grins, monetarily, based on the value of precious metals, what is worth more? A Silver Bat or a Gold Glove?
  12. Baseball is still my favorite professional sport, followed by hockey and then football.
  13. Cause of death will be listed as self-inflicted wound that pierced an artery.
  14. Nice play by Chavis. Just don't let him play 1st in London.
  15. I've got some nicknames for the SOX BP: Homer, Jethro, Luther, Colton.
  16. Every once in a while OB comes up with a good parody. Tonight it was JBJ's batting average has dribbled down to .223. 'Dribbled' the perfect verb in this case.
  17. If the SOX FO in the future does go searching for a new manager, they should keep Ned Yost on their radar.
  18. Even the worst of us have had good days. I know I have.
  19. For the sake of Cashner's career the SOX should trade him back to the O's or any low pressure market in the off season
