  1. Especially on Yonder. Down Yonder.
  2. I thought I was supposed to initiate the OP. No big deal. Rules are made to be broken, especially recently. Go Sox!
  3. E-rod 2-2 6.16ERA vs M. Banuelos 2-0 2.70ERA 7:10 EST Beni Betts JD X-Man Chavis(1B) Devers Pearce(LF) Nunez Vaz Go Red Sox! & Go Bruins!
  4. Also, let me ditto the congrats on your 20,000 posts.
  5. I actually heard those stats while watching the Cubs' game yesterday afternoon, but the 3 run homer does sound like something the late, great Earl Weaver would say.
  6. I'm not on here when the BRUINS are playing. I'll do my duty tomorrow night and post the OP, but I'll be watching the BRUINS and will record the SOX game to be watched later.
  7. Quality start by Sale and a 3 run homer. Stats don't lie.
  8. He's a perfect bookend for Thornburg.
  9. Rondon actually did better than Brewer.
  10. Rondon looks like most of the pitchers that come thru the RED SOX system.
  11. Not saying I don't trust the RED SOX BP, but I certainly wouldn't accept a check from them. Well, I might accept a check from Barnes. OK, I am saying, except for Barnes, I don't trust the RED SOX BP.
  12. Just informed from the Chicago feed that Babe Ruth swung a 50-54 ounce bat. I believe Teddy Ballgame swung a 30-32 ounce bat.
  13. I don't know about we, but I certainly hope the RED SOX can't. I can't just say SOX when they're playing the pale hose.
  14. That ball was smoked. Devers had no chance. Fortunately, it wasn't lofted or there would have been another 459 foot homer.
  15. That's ok. 422 will leave most ballparks.
  16. Cora could put JD in left and Beni in CF. Chavis could then be the DH. It would weaken the outfield defensively, but it keeps Chavis in the line-up and keeps JBJ out.
  17. Good hitters make pitchers pay for their mistakes.
  18. You can fry an egg on Devers.
  19. That's how a very good pitcher deals with the 1st two batters reaching base.
  20. Anyone can get hurt in a ballgame, whether it's a clean play or a dirty play. I know you know that.
