    This is the 2nd announcer this week who has referred to Devers as if he was in his mid 20's. Does Devers look older than 22? I don't think he does.

    Kirk Gibson just said that Devers hadn't reached his potential until this year. Hey, Kirk, he's 22 years old.

    One wonders if this game was Detroit playing KC or some other non-entity, it would have been called.

    I agree. This may be the Dodgers' year. But a healthy Houston won't be a slouch either.

    A team slump can happen anytime during the season. Let's all hope that begins to happen to the Yankems in late September.

    As much as I dislike the Yankems, it's better for the SOX at this point that the Rays continue to lose.

    In fact, the episode on CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM that I found the funniest was called MR SOFTEE. That's the one that features the late, great Bill Buckner.

    My all-time favorite comedy series used to be the 1st eight seasons of ALL IN THE FAMILY. However, that show fell to 2nd place once I started watching CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.

    I agree. BREAKING BAD was brilliant and truly original. It is the gold standard for crime dramas.

    Speaking of tv shows, for the last few days I've been binging on the series JUSTIFIED. Although BREAKING BAD is my all-time favorite crime series, JUSTIFIED is a close second.

    Simpleton has no personality, laughs for no apparent reason, and is just dumber than a bag of Michael Kay's.

    Switched over to Yankem/Rays game. When it comes to announcing a baseball game, Ken Singleton(Simpleton) is the worst of the worst.
