  1. I'd love to believe a new pitching coach is going to turn those 3 underachievers around, but I seriously doubt it.
  2. I did predict earlier that by the time the SOX scored 5 the Rays would have 7 or 8.
  3. LaVangie will likely be fired, while the SOX FO will give Cora about the same amount of rope they gave Farrell.
  4. And as far as most of the SOX BP, to make them better would require a pitching magician.
  5. I agree about the piss poor pitcher development in the SOX organization, but to blame the pitching coach when the team's starting staff are all veterans is a stretch. The s*** performances of Sale, Porcello, and Price are on them, not the pitching coach. E-rod and Workman have the same pitching coach and they seem to be doing fine.
  6. DD looks like a GM who has just discovered how important pitching is in baseball.
  7. True. That is the state of the game today.
  8. The SOX are like a major Hollywood motion picture with a lot of big stars, but the movie really isn't as good as it should be. The Rays are similar to a low budget independent film with a bunch of unknown actors, but the movie itself isn't half-bad.
  9. Oops. Just checked and found Rick didn't attend college. Oh, well, I'm sure he can find a job outside of baseball.
  10. I think Rick should 'reinvent' himself in whatever field he majored in during college.
  11. Is the excuse the SOX starters didn't get enough work in ST still valid?
  12. What the hell is ECK talking about in regards to Betts? I wouldn't be surprised if Mookie didn't lead the SOX in taking called 3rd strikes.
  13. He's a wild and crazy guy.
  14. No, it's the hard low and away pitches.
  15. Sogard is a very good ballplayer. Mentally and physically.
  16. It's 'too' seriously. You must have dropped out of school early, oldfartinthevegasdesert.
  17. Do you ever complain about the weather?
  18. Only 236 million. My bad, I've been under the impression it was 240 million. No wonder the SOX are struggling.
  19. If the SOX do reach the PO's, it is improbable they win the WS. If the SOX don't reach the PO's, it is impossible they win the WS. Thank You, Captain Obvious.
  20. It would be too easy to post that Porcello is the worst starting pitcher to ever have a Cy Young award in his resume, so I won't. I'm pretty sure there has been a worse pitcher to win lt.
  21. Winning back-to-back WS's is very tough.
  22. Dodgers, Houston, Yankems, Oakland, Cleveland dispute that statement. If you are referring to reaching te PO's.
  23. The SOX have to acquire a player with the first name BOOG.
  24. JD's loft angle appears to be -5 degrees.
  25. Most only come to the games to sing Sweet Caroline.
