MAX, I definitely knew what you meant, but in this series to avoid confusion it should be GO RED SOX!
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It will be a more perfect day if the Yankems lose again today.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Win this one for THUNDER.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Hey, I resemble that statement.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Hope you feel better soon. I did hear yesterday that these Covid shots may become an annual event.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Please inform me of what date I should use on tomorrow's OP. I'm seriously confused. Regards, Eegah.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
True, but Mike was the head writer since day one. So they are both part of the original show.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, can I assume a split doubleheader means two 9 inning games?
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm thinking (never a good thing) that the date should reflect the date of the win. So, OT tomorrow should be 4/17 and remain that way until SOX lose.

Mike. The original MST3K is, imho, the best. Never got attached to the Jonah version.

When a baseball game is played while it's snowing, the teams should employ black baseballs.

Don't be down. The BRUINS are playing the Isles tonight, or if you have Prime streaming, you can watch RACKET GIRLS. No, it's not about tennis, it's an expose film about the seedy underworld of female wrestling in the '50's. And to make the movie even better the crew from MST3000 will be on hand to add humor to the proceedings.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, the SOX are 1-0 in games involving snow so far this season.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Especially when the snow plows are employed so the yard markers can be seen.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It's the Bottle of the Saxes, er, I mean it's the Battle of the Soxes tonight weather permitting. Go Red Sox! Btw, may 4/16 have a long run.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If that's the case, I'll be watching the BRUINS tomorrow night in the 2nd game of a back-to-back against the Isles.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Great run, MAX. That's gonna be a tough act to follow.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Whatever. This is what Cora does, but I'll never like it.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I thought your question was rhetorical. Ok, how about for Dalbec. I know he's 0-9, but to have the team's best hitter not even sniff a time at bat in this kind of game was inexcusable. Cora didn't give his team the best chance to win, IMHO.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm sure that had JD pinched-hit he would have been too tired to play tomorrow.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I realize that Cora is considered god-like to many SOX fans.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Shirley you jest and I won't call you Shirley anymore.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I don't mind going after Cora when I think he deserves it.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
A manager's main job is to give his team the best chance to win. Not employing the team's best hitter in a close game does not support this.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Don't like to see anyone get hurt, but I'll make an exception with this HP chumpire.
