    W/L is definitely a misleading stat. Verlander clobbers E-rod in ERA and WHIP. In fact, Verlander's WHIP is a minuscule 0.77.

    With a win tonight E-rod will tie Verlander with most wins in MLB at 17. In fact they both would be at 17-5.

    Of course, it would require both Sale and Price retiring.
