  1. deGrom, who is now 2-2, saw his ERA rise from 0.33 to 0.51 after tonight's loss to the SOX. 2 wins, 2 losses with an ERA of 0.51. Let that sink in, won't you?
  2. Sports reporter: "Who's the toughest hitter you've faced this year?" deGrom: "That 5th batter for the SOX. Deavers or Drevers or something like that."
  3. deGrom should read about Bob Gibson's career with the Cards, especially in '68.
  4. Besides winning, another good thing about this game was very little chance of base running injuries.
  5. The SOX team ERA has definitely improved. Hell, two more games against the Mets and the SOX would be near the top.
  6. Good pitching beats good hitting. When pitching against the Mets, well, you see where I'm going with this.
  7. No broken bats tonight. I haven't seen this many K's since TuuKKa RasK joined the BRUINS.
  8. Cordero was signed 1yr/800,000. Sofa change. Not my sofa, John Henry's.
  9. Mets are loaded with pitchers, but they need some punch in their line-up. Wonder if they would be interested in Cordero or Renfroe?
  10. Possibly, but it's probably because the SOX put more guys on 1st base.
  11. As much as I diss the Mets' offense, there's no dissing their pitching.
