    The Dodgers did the SOX a big favor 8 years ago and the SOX partially returned that favor with the Betts' deal.

    I'd rather pitch for the Marlins than do jury duty. Much better benefits. After I pitched an inning I would go sit in the stands and stay away from the other players. Realistically, I wouldn't be capable of actually finishing an inning.

    Boston's track record of acquiring baseball personnel who've started their careers with Tampa has not been very good. Crawful, Priceless, and now Bloom. Although it's obviously too early to judge Bloom. Maybe the SOX should avoid Tampa like the plague.

    Getting the Mets' feed and was informed that Workman gave up only 29 hits in 71 innings last year. That's amazing.
