  1. Speaking of Trout, I'm still against a player on a non-playoff team winning the MVP. Just create the BABE RUTH AWARD for best player. Or they could just name it the MIKE TROUT AWARD.
  2. Obviously signing 10 years with the Angels proves he doesn't care.
  3. It appears both Pearce and Eovaldi came with the same limited guarantee.
  4. The only ring Trout will ever see is the one in his bathtub.
  5. He was batting .223 before he went on the IL.
  6. The main difference between the Angels and a little league team is that on a little league team the best player also pitches.
  7. Superman forgot his cape on that one.
  8. It seems apparent that the best and highest paid player in baseball has accepted a career of playing in meaningless games.
  9. I believe you hit the trifecta.
  10. SOX were nice to Pujols by giving him a BJ.
  11. Unlike you, Slasher, I don't hang out at family reunions to pick up a date.
  12. J. Barria 4-5 6.36ERA vs B. Johnson 1-1 6.88ERA SOX might need to score more than 3 runs tonight.
  13. Pearce has pretty much left early and Moreland will be no loss.
  14. Trout with 3 K's. Doubt he does that very often.
  15. Sale is the best 5-11 pitcher in baseball.
  16. OB said it best "Magnificent!"
  17. He definitely has his s*** together tonight.
  18. 650 HR's by an excellent hitter who always claimed he is not a HR hitter. A class ballplayer who would have been great in any era. Imho, the greatest RH hitter of his generation.
  19. The SOX do need a 1st baseman. It's his if he wants it.
  20. So far it's SALE, SAM, and SANDY.
  21. Besides both being great ballplayers, Trout like Ted Williams may also own the dubious history of never playing on a WS winner.
