    Well... Since Moses Cleaveland cheated the the poor Massagoes Tribe out of the land, and they were too cheap to fit an extra a on the sign for the new town / city... not to mention the fact that Cleaveland was a carpetbagger from Connecticut... They really need to change the name to the "Massagoes Guardians?" Either spring for the extra a and spell the City name correctly, or change the name of the city to those who originally "owned it." Funny how as we're all getting Woke up, we tend to miss out on the big ironies.

    June is going to be a brutal make or break test as to whether this team gets exposed or proves themselves to be a legit contender in a very tough AL East division. I think if we weather June above .500, this team is a buy not sell. I still think this team has 93 win potential, but not if we fall asleep as we have in the last 3 games with a legit Astros team.

    The only way I will feel truly happy about this trade, is for it to go total Jacoby Ellsbury 2.0. I want a total bust for the Dodgers! I don't want injury, but I do want underperformance for the contract. Next... all I want is a Red Sox World Series Championship THIS YEAR. I think that would be a fair trade?

    Sounds like the best move for Beni, at exactly the right time in his career. Too bad that aweful year last year cost us a possible / probable all-star, because of all the wrong concerns guidance. I'm really happy for a guy we all had such high hopes for, but was steered in the wrong direction. Sounds like he's being coached as still up & coming young player he has been for years... GOOD FOR HIM, and all the best to a kid we raised, but put out on his own too early. Understandable with all the chaos & injury, but still negligent of the Sox organization.     Can't ya just feel the "concern?" Getting out more now that we're over .500? Good to see yours was just a strain & not a full blown sprain.

    It is stunning, and right now our OF, other than Dogo is a major drag on this offense and Defense. We've been lucky so far that JD, Devers, Bogie, & DoGo have started out so hot. This, of course, will not last. These guys will cool off. The only thing we can really hope for right now, is that some of the other guys will heat up somewhat. None of them however will hit for average. I like the "chemistry," but our pitching and offense are likely to cool. Winning, has so far hidden so many holes, but that can't last too long. I really hope I'm wrong, but blowing up our OF is going to be a problem no matter what happens. We got lucky with Arroyo, but we are losing the gamble with Dalbec also. Too many holes, and selling short on Beni was always a bad idea. Not signing a 1B was another unnecessary Gamble! I hope to hell I'm dead wrong, but right now we have too many holes in this lineup for the winning to continue.
