I laughed my ass off at this ...JD was so polarizing .JDMis genuine and likable ...Boston loves this guy the minute he donned the Red white and Blue .

....MVP I hear ya ....I just remember that rotation last year folding in the playoffs ....Arietta is a big body weird delivery guy ...I just trust this player in the playoffs more than JBJ ...JBJ is an incredible fielder one of the best I've ever seen...This is about rings for me ...JBJ is like pokey Reese to me ...yes he's amaaaaaazing but wow is he just a late game defensive replacement in the crunch ? Maybe maybe not ? I know what Jake is .best case is trade Porkchop keep JBJ and have them both .

Joe Kelly 3.5 roughly 2.2 for Holt JBJ 6 million ? And we have what 3 million to play with ? That would cover it and bring Prospects back if that's the route to restock the farm ....go 13 X 3 for Arietta ? .....Playoff rotation of Sale ,Price ,Arietta looks nice to me .What if we have a taker for Pokchop ?we pay half they get a CY winner two years removed ? .....then you keep JBJ and Kelly ..personally I'd jettison Porkchops contract in a cocaine heartbeat .

JBJ and Benny would have to in this scenario wouldn't they ??? Or is someone on the block ?I think several are up for sale but we will see.

Are we really done this offseason ??? Sure sounded like JD may play 60 games in RF ....are we really done ?I don't think so bet we will see the next ten days .The fact remains we would need to toss another 10 to 15 million in payroll to even get Jake ...I think he's worth every penny .

Admittedly JDs career in Houston I've never looked into .....But for 100 mill You bet you that the last few months our Redsox have .rumblings are s*** lol so wasn't that trade ...oh well maybe Kelly will be the guy they thought he would become ....hope it's this year.

Exactly innuendo I changed it to maybe ... Who the hell knows ..it is all there is it's what it is no more no less just an odd jump off a cliff to a very bright career ....never to resurface ....always will be weird to me .Hated the trade to begin with because rumblings had started over there before it went down .The injury was one that was scary enough but couple that with innuendo ....would never have traded for that player ....ever .Not like the guy was some hulk at the plate ...that trade makes me angry now and will always ...something just never added up .

Notin although you are squarely on the money with this ....I don't know if that was the only thing holding Allen Craig back ...There are still whispers his career may have been aided .I have idea if that's the case ....JD is a monster and on a whole other planet than Craig.JD will be a monster here for atleast two years ...the opt outs are brilliant .LOMO is an extremely intriguing player who I love to watch bat but he's been pretty up and down ..so this was a safe bet that had to be made .Lomo could very well play for us someday soon if he repeats last year .

Well said about Blake he really can put this team over the top ....Barfield makes me smile what a power stroke this guy has .I hope we keep them both and Blake takes over behind the plate along with Vaz ....Sandy could have lost his spot now in my opinion if Blake keeps this up.

I agree 100 percent ...I was thinking minimum for LOMO 3 at 39 ....If LOMO hits 32 out this year with decent D and decent average ???? I hope he cleans up for himself next winter ..I believe he's figured it out ...we will see soon .
