  1. Whoever gets to the wild card game and win it, will have to face the Guardians next. That's the reason winning the division is so important
  2. Take into consideration Coors Field for every Colorado offensive stats
  3. I love Florial, if he continues with his development he will be a top20 prospect in baseball by this time next year (probably earlier)
  4. If he didn't know he's an incompetent, if he did he's a cheater; they should fire him either way
  5. The bigger problem is for JF, if he didn't know it was happening he's not having control of the clubhouse and if he knew it, he's a cheater lose-lose sutuation for him
  6. Or to hit an old man
  7. Nope, he starts his suspension today
  8. Completely agree, Varitek kept his mask during his fight with Arod, that was a bitchy move But what Sanchez did is inexcusable and classless, you don't hit somebody on the floor looking away from you
  9. It looks like you just got Rajai Davis from the A's, JBJ injury might be more serious than initially reported
  10. Beni + Bogaerts + 2 prospects That's a very good haul for the marlins, I doubt the RS offered would be close to that, but if they do it the Marlins should be interested
  11. Also, Bird started his rehab yesterday; some people said he will be in the Bronx before the end of the month
  12. They will want an OF in this trade, probably Benintendi, Erod + X-bo + Beni + Prospect mighjt have the Miami listening to the proposal
  13. I think so, good trade by Cashman I don't like what I see on Chapman, but once again, Cashman bought some insurance with Kahnle and Robertson
  14. Interesting package, if you replace Bogey with JBJ you might have a deal
  15. It looks it's just a bone bruise, 10 days DL for him; if this is true the Nats dodge a bullet with his injury it looked far more serious than this
  16. We rely too much on the long ball, if they keep this trend most frontline starters will kill us in the post season (if we get there) Nice HR for Judge, let's see if can snap out of the slump now
  17. Thanks for the input What about his control? Is he wild? I read he reaches up to 101 with his FB, usually those young pitchers with that type of velocity are often wild.
  18. I thought you were really high on Gray
  19. Bleacher Report just updated their farm System rankings http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...eadline-frenzy I'm surprised we didn't take a bigger hit in the rankings, still at 3rd after the latest trades says a lot about the dept of our system Number 3 Top 10 Prospects Name Level Tier 1. SS Gleyber Torres INJ 1 2. OF Clint Frazier MLB 1 3. RHP Chance Adams AAA 1 4. OF Estevan Florial A 1 5. LHP Justus Sheffield AA 1 6. 3B Miguel Andujar AAA 1 7. RHP Domingo Acevedo AA 1 8. RHP Albert Abreu A+ 2 9. RHP Freicer Perez A 2 10. IF Tyler Wade MLB 2 Graduated/Traded: OF Blake Rutherford, RHP James Kaprielian, IF/OF Jorge Mateo, OF Dustin Fowler Farm System Overview With the AL East title within reach and expectations still to win now even with the club clearly focused on the future, the New York Yankees were in a precarious position this July. When the dust settled, they acquired Sonny Gray, Tommy Kahnle, David Robertson, Todd Frazier and Jaime Garcia, and the farm system still has enough elite-level talent and overall depth to fall just one spot to No. 3 in the rankings. Blake Rutherford and James Kaprielian both have huge upside, but the team is not lacking for outfield talent in the case of Rutherford, and there's no guarantee Kapreilian ever stays healthy enough to realize his ace potential. The rise of 19-year-old Estevan Florial, who is hitting .297/.373/.483 with 37 extra-base hits and 17 stolen bases for Single-A Charleston, has also given this already stacked system another elite-level talent.
  20. By the way, Florial was just called up to High-A Tampa, a step away from AA
  21. I agree, used to think Cashman was a mediocre GM, but the last two deadlines has me thinking about it; it looks like it was the ownership holding him back
  22. lol I almost fell out of my chair
  23. With your current farm system, name a package better than the Yanks gave up, without including ML pieces; I'm not saying you don't have the prospects to pull it off, I just don't see how you can beat that without including ML talent or your best two prospects.
