  1. http://m.mlb.com/glossary/transactions/salary-arbitration Your right has nothing to do with the Minors, it has what his Agent thinks his client is worth. I would use Castillo as a starting point if I were his Agent. Happens to be in the Minors. Be a very good argument to a Arbitrator. 10.5 sounds right to me, and its still a good deal.
  2. Oakland is 54-0 from 7th inning on with the lead.
  3. You work it out this year, he's worth it. Then rethink it. Who's more valuable, Bogey or JBJ's last year of arbitration. If the Sox don't think soon, the will always be in Luxury Tax hell, like the Yanks were. Be funny last year of JBJ's arbitration offer, is more than Rusney will earn of 14 million. Who will be 50 years old. You keep JBJ at all cost in 2019. Simple. See how the season goes.
  4. Boras got this you'll see. I say we'll be lucky at just 10 million. Especially strong Play-offs, he knows they have nothing in the Minors, and paying a guy in Triple AAA, 11.7 million to play CF. Even 11 its still a good deal. Only numbers Boras sees in $.
  5. They almost doubled him last year without Arbitration, he'll get 10 million maybe more. Probably ask for 11.5 and work from there, with Boras as his agent. He'll look at Rusney Castillo's contract, and use that as starting point. That's how I would do it, if I were his agent. AND he'll be worth it.
  6. Keep it simple between his salary, which will go up a bit this year, I predict 10M, which is not bad. The main thing most Sox Fans, should know there is nothing in Triple AAA, or Double AA close to JBJ's Major League talent. Nothing. You have to keep him. I went to both PawSox games this weekend, there is nothing there. You weaken the team by moving Benni to CF, and JDM to Left on a steady basis. When you make a move like JBJ, you got to have something in the Minors, that should be ready for the Majors. This Thread is silly now.
  7. Atlanta got some fireballers called up. They have great young talent.
  8. Relax White Sox stink. Come back in minutes.
  9. Poyner is like a 1 inning Pitcher.
  10. Swihart is making great stops.
  11. Johnson stinks. Get him out.
  12. Shields is bum too, he gives up HRS like Santa Claus gives gifts away. Score 2 back right now.
  13. Good play by Nunez kept it in infield.
  14. Batting practice, now.
  15. Man that was a MEATBALL!
  16. That was a good White Sox team when they wore these uniforms, had Pitching, Hitting, Defense, but choked in the Play-offs.
  17. Sure do, they were crazy.
  18. Always liked these uniforms. LaRussa, was the Manager when they had them.
  19. Leaving for the Pawsox game in an hour or so, another great place that brought many memories.
  20. Harrelson once said Yaz was the greatest Clutch hitter he's ever seen. Funny Players use the word Clutch, but Fans don't see it that way. In 68 was at the last game with my Pop, only got SRO, and he clocked one into the Net. Fans went crazy, great year by the "Hawk".
  21. Kinsler is better Defensive 2nd baseman, why would you weaken yourself Defensively at 2 Positions? Maybe if Pitching change during game, I guess. You flip Nunez back to 3rd and Kinsler go to 2nd. I could see that.
  22. With Eovaldi going tomorrow, would be nice if one these starters, actually pitch like a starter. Try to go deep into the game. Good thing for call-ups.
  23. Here is the exact Quote. "One thing is for sure, Raffy has to play better. We knew that. The whole season, offensively he's been up and down. Defensively, he's made his errors. But he needs to be better, that's the bottom line. We're here to win games, and whoever's playing best is going to play". BSJ Sean McAdam Sounds like a message to me, and to Sean also.
  24. Over the last 19 games the Sox have committed only 4 errors, lowest in the Majors in that span. - Sean McAdam
