Nobody here has seen the improvement in X-Mans Defense. Its unreal, how good he has become. From what I saw when he was in Portland. He's improved leaps and bounds. And getting better.

Bogaerts is vastly superior to Iglesias. You don't Trade Young Franchise SS's. He got Traded quickly.

Ozzie Smith must have been the greatest SS that ever played the game. I'll take Bogaerts 100 out of 100 times over Iglesias at SS. Without a doubt. 2 years from now might be the best. Both on Defense and Offense. Iglesias will never get that good. He's a one dimensional ball player. That's it.

Last year in Final Series at home they beat the snot out of us, 3 out of 4. Then whooped us in 4 games in ALDS. They haven't done that this year.

Your scared of Houston then? I'm not. Kimi is right a couple of lucky breaks this series could easily be 2-0 Sox. Baseball it happens. They haven't dominated us like last year, in these games.

At home Tampa has the best ERA in Baseball. 2.94 Houston is 3rd. 3.29 What I see that's a big difference between Houston and Boston is Quality Starts. Houston has 94 Boston has 75. Seattle beat them at home in a 4 game series a couple of weeks ago all 4 games. Baseball is strange at times. Don't worry about Houston now, just win it all, and then worry. Houston will have enough on their hands with the Guardians.

Finish with best record, let Cleveland and Houston battle each other. We'll have the Yanks or Oakland 1st Round. Not a big deal at this point. Happens. 1st game BP, yesterday didn't hit with men on base, just put a complete game together, kill these clowns.

Not buying it. Sale is and always was a competitor, he wants to pitch. Rest after AS break makes sense, not now after 2 Months. Pitch counts. This tells me that they want to see if their is any pain, after this start.

40 pitches that's it. And you don't think he doesn't have something going on with his Shoulder? Trying to build his arm this late in the season. I am concerned. Just pray he has no pain, in a couple of days after this start.

Agree, and don't need WAR to tell me. I see a lot of guys here would have loved Ed Brinkman and Bud Harrelson. Same kind of players, light hitting Defense was there thing. Getting the All around SS is the thing that is Special, not one dimensional. Bogaerts leans that way. Seems everytime I see Iglesias he swings real hard and gets a lot of bloop hits. Very rare does he rope a ball. Even when he was here.

Problem with Pomeranz is he doesn't throw strikes. Throws a million pitches to go 5 innings. Don't need no more BP killers for starters.

I'm starting a team, I'm taking Bogey 100 out of 100 times over Iglesias. That WAR stat is stupid. You got WAR I got EYE. Bogey's Defense has taken huge jumps since he got here. Lindor is not leaving Cleveland so throw that out. They will pay that man too, Big Time.

Toughest thing for Fans to do is throw everything out from Regular Season, and start fresh for the Play-offs. Different animal. Teams that show me the best Mental toughness, are usually I am concerned about. Then there is this. "Nothing else matters, except for the little lump of dirt, in the middle of the Field". - Earl Weaver. He should know after what the 69 Mets did to his Powerhouse team. Still say the 2013 Red Sox team, was one of the best mentally tough teams I have ever seen.

What's going on with Sale. That shoulder has to be a problem. Looks like the Sox are trying to time this, so they have him long enough, to get through the Play-offs, and use Off-Season to see how he does. No way they are resting him anymore for innings Pitched. He has to get some work by this time. If his Shoulder is Chronic, Houston we have a problem. Since July 6th, he has Pitched 30 innings. 2 Months ago. Not buying the rest thing anymore.

Lets say for the sake of argument, he walks. The Sox have nothing in the Minors to take over. The Sox are going to have to pay this guy big bucks next year. Or back to Free Agency again, and shop around. Boras is licking his chops on this one, especially another good year from the X-Man, and a WS thrown in.
