Betts deserves to get heat from fans for his poor form irrespective of past achievements, just as the likes of Sale and Porcello are getting rightly criticised for their unacceptable pitching.

Exactly that. The strategy of resting is fine when you are in good shape in the standings, but when you are 2-8 , playing like s*** and can’t beat a weak national league team, you need to change the plan before getting home 2-9. -
