Chavis is so much fun to watch at the plate -
Terrible call on JD by the umpire
-
For more context, they are 4-8 against teams over .500
-
They are struggling against the Astros good pitching despite many chances to come through.
-
Against the Astros we are 1/16 with RISP
-
Devers is having a great season with the bat, but he has cooled off lately going 0 for his last 9.
-
Vaz has been sloppy behind the plate the last 2 days
-
Irrespective of how well he is pitching you can never be surprised when Porcello gives up a dinger, because he is ALWAYS dinger prone .
-
JD doing a good Johnny Damon impersonation with his noodle arm throw
-
Two fat pitches in a row for Rick ruin a great night for him. The story of the night if we lose is the 1/9 with RISP
-
All of those options stink
-
Chavis looks like a rookie tonight with the bat
-
Chris Sale knows all about it !
-
JD swung at 2 balls in that AB and missed a slider over the middle of the plate
-
Sox 0 for 7 with RISP
-
Scored a hit but that’s a play Devers needs to make.
-
It’s time for the Sox to move on from Nunez . He adds nothing with the bat or the glove .
-
I’m going out on a limb by saying Chavis with his team leading OPS of .986 is the “optimum” 2nd basemen on the team right now!
-
You are so right
-
You can add Workman to that list
-
Lin? At least he is a competent fielder
-
Pearce and Nunez continue to stink with the bat after 60+ ABs . Someone is going to be the odd man out when Holt (and Pedey ???) returns. I’m happy to say goodbye to Nunez who had a purple patch when he came over in 2017 but has struggled ( no plate discipline) ever since, and he is a total butcher with the glove. Pearce continues to look lost.
-
The Sox run differential is now + 27 , thanks Seattle !
-
Chavis coming back to earth, 0 for his last 18 but he does have 5 walks in that time
-
Please! Mr high leverage Kelly pitched 6 innings in the World Series giving up no runs, whilst Hembree pitched only 1 inning(11th) in the 3-2 loss in game 3. Hembree pitched 2 innings (8-9th) in the 6-2 loss to the Yankees in game 2, 1 inning (8th) in the 16-1 blow out win in game 3 , 0.2 inning (9th) in the 7-2 loss in game 3 of the championship series against the dodgers. So in the playoffs Hembree pitched a total of 1 high leverage inning.
