  1. That is truly outstanding . They are my pick to win the World Series with such a well balanced team that does everything well.
  2. That would have been outstanding . Call Doc, fire up the delorean , we are sending DD back to December 2018!
  3. There are no words in the English dictionary that could convince me that adding a decent closer at the deadline was going to somehow transform the Sox under performing starters . In regard to adding to the team from last year the Sox are already the highest spending team in baseball the last 2 years so it’s hard to complain about them not going over the top tier of the cap. That said DD did not spend well on Eavoldi and Pearce in the off season , as they have both been non factors , and the bullpen was short of quality from the get go.
  4. You mean the same management that has won the World Series 4 times in in 15 years, more than anyone else this century, and as recently as last season? Time will prove that DD was correct not to invest in this team at the deadline with their overpaid non performing starters and inconsistent batters. That said DD has to take responsibility for starting the season without a proven closer.
  5. Bogey has had an amazing season, but has been a complete bunny in this series going 1/14
  6. Betts stinking it up in this series going 2/14
  7. “What have you done for me lately?” The Sox have won 4 World Series since the beginning of the century and the Yankees have won 1. The Sox are easily the more successful team during the recent past.
  8. Does Price still “hold all the cards”? Fukn clown
  9. Hahaha. Severino and his 6.26 postseason ERA should be a big help .
  10. FFS. 4.1ERA and counting .......
  11. Whilst the pitchers have deservedly taken a lot of heat for their poor performance in the series, the hitters have also really stunk .
  12. A hitter with a .684 OPS should never be hitting 5th for the Red Sox
  13. Very soon Price (3.93) will join the rest of the Sox starters with a 4+ ERA
  14. I second that motion
  15. This looks familiar. Barnes s***ing himself at yankee stadium
  16. The second time through the order and the Yankees are staying back waiting for the curve ball
  17. Red Sox media commentators continue to say, along with many fans, that JDM will opt out at the end of the season. That seems very unlikely to me. He won’t go to the National League as the 33 year old is no longer a full time outfielder . These American League clubs are rebuilding: Jays, white Sox, orioles, royals, mariners, tigers and the royals. The twins have Cruz, the angels have Otahni. The Guardians, rangers, rays and athletics don’t play in that price range. I can’t see the Astros spending that kind of money on a DH, and they have a very strong hitting club. That leaves the Yankees, which won’t happen with Stanton on the roster for many years. JDM is staying with the Red Sox.
  18. There are some Sox hitters in mini slumps. Chavis is one of them , 0 for his last 9
  19. 4 runs conceded is a good pitching performance in the context of this season. Unfortunately the hitting sucked in this one
  20. 2 hits through 6 innings. In the word of Eck, “yuck”
  21. Vaz bat has really cooled off. At one point he was hitting .300 and he is now down to .276
  22. The one Sox starter who had been pitching well shits himself at yankee stadium
  23. 1/11 RISP . That won’t win you many games
