  1. The Sox stinking it up at Fenway is a season long theme
  2. Rick gives up the obligatory Porcello
  3. In the off season DD would be wise to invest in starter depth and not have slop regularly dished up by the likes of Johnson and his 6.58 ERA
  4. A lot of swings out of the strike zone
  5. Beni swings at ball 4
  6. Lead off single and stolen base wasted
  7. I continue to marvel at the plate coverage Devers has with power. We are used to seeing him take the ball the other way with power, and today he takes an inside pitch off the plate for a HR. He is a joy to watch .
  8. Not sure what Owings is doing in the lineup, with another 3 strike out game.
  9. Get the extension paper work on the table !
  10. 99 RBIs for Devers !
  11. Good start by EROD
  12. Excellent game by the bullpen
  13. The Sox starters truly stink in the 1st inning
  14. The Sox are 62-58. They are also a bad team themselves
  15. Where everything Cora touched turned to gold last season, this year it is the opposite. Resting Mookie and inserting Owens as lead off was an epic fail . Resting your best player when wins are a must is also a fuk up . Mookie will have plenty of time to rest in October 😬
  16. It’s hard to criticise Vaz after his 2 run bomb, but he did leave have 7 LOB and a horrible bunt attempt
  17. The ugly losses continue to pile up this season
  18. My expectations for JBJ are low with the bat but somehow he still manages to disappoint
  19. Hard to score runs with 5 guys in the lineup hitting under .201
  20. Whilst the pitching has taken a lot of heat, including today’s ABs a number of the Sox are really struggling in August aside from JD and Vaz. Betts 10/40 .250 Bogey 9/38 .236 JD. 16/34 .470 Travis 4/25 .160 Vaz 9/29 .310 Chavis 5/28 .178 Holt 3/15 .200 Leon 3/18 .166 JBJ 4/27 .148
  21. Chavis struggling in August hitting .178
