The Sox are 62-58. They are also a bad team themselves

Where everything Cora touched turned to gold last season, this year it is the opposite. Resting Mookie and inserting Owens as lead off was an epic fail . Resting your best player when wins are a must is also a fuk up . Mookie will have plenty of time to rest in October 😬

It’s hard to criticise Vaz after his 2 run bomb, but he did leave have 7 LOB and a horrible bunt attempt

The ugly losses continue to pile up this season

My expectations for JBJ are low with the bat but somehow he still manages to disappoint
  6. Oscars
Hard to score runs with 5 guys in the lineup hitting under .201

Whilst the pitching has taken a lot of heat, including today’s ABs a number of the Sox are really struggling in August aside from JD and Vaz. Betts 10/40 .250 Bogey 9/38 .236 JD. 16/34 .470 Travis 4/25 .160 Vaz 9/29 .310 Chavis 5/28 .178 Holt 3/15 .200 Leon 3/18 .166 JBJ 4/27 .148

Chavis struggling in August hitting .178

Porcello has 5.67 ERA for the season and has been friggin awful . Without unreal run support he would have less wins than Sale
  10. Oscars
Yeah but he was slugging .543 with 13 HRs before he went in the IL so at least the power was there
  11. Oscars
He hasn’t swung the bat well since coming off the IL
  12. Oscars
Good outing from Walden who has been in good recent form
  13. Oscars
The Sox look flat with the bat against the 6 ERA pitcher
  14. Oscars
Obvious mistake by the umpire should have had Upton struck out , ends up costing the Sox 3 runs
  15. Oscars
Mookie has had a hopeless August hitting .176
  16. Oscars
He has been chasing pitches off the plate lately
  17. Oscars
Devers has really cooled off in August going 5/32
  18. Oscars
Damn straight, there was no need to throw a good strike there at 0-2.

Hey DD, here is the Sox pen being “fine” again!
  20. Oscars
JBJ can’t hit a pitch in the middle of the plate
  21. Oscars
JBJs arm this year has been a real mixed bag with some assists at 2nd, but it’s been pretty inaccurate when he throws to home plate .

Sean is the funniest guy I’ve ever heard doing baseball games and he will still make you laugh whist the Sox play makes you want to cry!
  23. Oscars
He is stinking it up again after hitting .315 in June. He hit .198 in July and is hitting .167 in August.

I live in New Zealand so I listen to the games during the day here, and yes this commentary team are brilliant . Good riddance to the giant bore Tim Neveritt
  25. Oscars
Betts has a brilliant July hitting .373 but has gone ice cold hitting .182 in August
