    An Alex Speir article from yesterday laid the blame for the offensive skid on the anaemic batting average with RISP for Bogey, Devers and JDM. Same again today with the trio leaving 10 men on base so far.

    Marwin has a. 568 OPS on the season. He should be a late innings defensive replacement or released.

    When Bogey tweaked his wrist a couple of weeks ago Cora said that's what had happening. Since then Bogey has been rested a bit, and hasn't pulled a ball hard to left field. I think it's clear Bogey still has a wrist problem.

    I expect the Jay's to sweep the sox in this series then its 3 games with the Ray's. In a matter of days the sox will likely be in 4th place in the division and the season will be in complete freefall. Then put Bogey on the injured list and start planning for next season.

    The main culprits for the current hitting swoon are these 5, and this what they have contributed in the last 30 games: Average/ Slugging - JDM . 237 . 483 - Bogey . 231 . 375 - Dugo. . 264. . 325 - Vaz. . 230. . 275 - All of the worthless salami bat's at 1st base. As a rookie you have to cut Durran some slack, but he is part of the problem with his . 176 average and . 353 Slugging.

    JDM left another 6 on base in this game. He’s a big reason for the scuffling offence.
