  1. And I just got back from a trip to NYC, didn't smell like hot garbage at all, except for a few subway stops. Maybe you were thinking of the charles river........
  2. And if your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle.
  3. I guess Lou Gehrig must have been dirty too!!
  4. Well, it was relevant to the discussion when one of the posters has one set of rules for determining Player A's PED use and another set of rules for determining Player B's PED use. Please try to keep up.
  5. His SLG% was usually mid .400's with the Twinkies and consistently mid .500's and higher with the sawx.
  6. Like I said, flip flopper.
  7. He also was consistently low 100's OPS+ while with the Twins then consistently 140 OPS+ and higher with the sawx.
  8. But I'm not in denial. (And I don't mean a river in Egypt)
  9. Well, we were discussing our opinions on nomar and papi's PED use. No whining until you chimed in.
  10. And we wish you would quit whining about the kimbrel trade yet you seem to bring it up every other day.
  11. Lol, look at papi's picture when he played for the Twins!! But your defense of papi has always been " show me what he tested positive for and when he served the suspension". Yet you say something different when it comes to nomar. Like a poster said earlier, at least be consistent.
  12. Please show me that post because it doesn't exist.
  13. You are a flip flopper!! On the boegarts vs nomar thread you said nomar was an obvious PED user. Please tell me what exactly he tested positive for and when he served his suspension??!! Kinda blows your defense of papi out of the water.
  14. Nonsense, it was your boy slasher who said nomar did PEDs. I wish for once that you would be able to get your facts straight.
  15. Geez, obviously there's exceptions to every rule. And if his skills behind the dish are so great to make up for the lack of hitting, why is the staff's ERA so poor? Que CERA, CERA.........
  16. Ridiculous. No MLB team can stand to have an every day player in the line up with a sub .200 BA.
  17. Pretty cool. Whitey Ford lives a few blocks from me. Used to see him out at a couple of bars but haven't the past few years. I heard it's due to health reasons. Funny story, we have an Irish barmaid who worked at one of the bars he used to frequent. Obviously being from Ireland she had no idea who he was. One of the regulars asked her if she knew who the old timer was that she was serving and she said sure, his name is Whitey. We then had to explain to her that he was a legend. She was shocked and complimented what a gentleman he is.
  18. I also got to meet Smokin' Joe Frazier after a de la Hoya fight at MSG back in 1995. What a great guy! Shook his hand and his engulfed mine, made me feel like a little kid. Over the years I have also met Guidry, Whitey Ford, Dennis Rodman, Scottie "No Tipping" Pippen, Dan Marino, Lorenzo White, Michael Irvin (complete jerk), Anthony Mason, Charles Barkley and Joe Girardi. Those are just a few off the top of my head.
  19. I got to meet Kevin Millar in Ft Lauderdale during spring training. What a tool. Although he did get a kick out of my "Hey Boston, 1 for 86 still sucks!" tshirt.
  20. No, the only term that needs to die is the one currently in the White House.
  21. I predict that you will never fully grasp the English language. #charges#
  22. [quote=Slasher9;1002 i predict that the yankees will have another player fail for PED's before the season is over. They will probably just deny it like big papi.
