    Couple of things. Tulo has been terrible since the Blue Birds aquired him, not much to miss. Secondly, Over the Hill Sabathia is sporting a sub 2.60 ERA.

    I've had nothing but great experiences there, starting with clinching the 1996 ALCS in the 3rd base box seats. Been there several times since, always a great experience. BTW, the same guy that designed Camden also designed the ballpark at Arlington, another cool park to visit.

    North America is different than Central & South America or even Europe for that matter. We tend to think of the "big 4" MLB,NHL,NFL,NBA. Soccer or futbol is an afterthought for the most part.

    That's awesome. IMO, one of the best parts of baseball is the history and folklore associated with it. To me the other sports just don't measure up in that department.

    Great thread. One thing sticks out, seems we have a group of young bucks and old f***s! Lol. Seriously though, it now gives us an idea of the age of some of the posters which kinda puts some of their posts in perspective.

    Sept 14, 1977 Yanks vs Sawx Reggie hit a dinger with Munson on giving Ed Figueroa a 2-0 win over Reggie Cleveland. I remember it being a long subway ride from South Brooklyn up to the Bronx. And my dad hating every minute of it because he was an old Brooklyn Dodgers fan and detested everything to do with the Yanks.
