    YEAH! In the middle of a pennant race we NEED to shut down our best player for at least 2 games! Now isn't the time to do s*** like that. even when mookie is struggling he still does the little things, his defense and base running (see monday, where he stole a run) are huge.

    don't worry guys, i'm sure some people will in here and give a good excuse as to why hanigan batted. i'm sure hanigan hit likes .278 with runners on first in the 6th inning on later and has a 3.58 catcher ERA in the 7th inning when Matt Barnes is pitching, so he needed to hit there. Plus we only have 4 catchers on the roster, gotta rest them.

    There is a lot more managers than just two who are better than Farrell. However, you are off base on a few points 1. there is very few games a manager will EVER win by himself. there is a reason there isn't a manager WAR state, if there was, Farrell is probably at about -5 right now. 2. Ortiz is not a great fielder, and never was a great fielder. However, that is not even why he is not starting. He is old, has bad legs and can't handle the stress of playing games in the field, especially not three in a row.

    Who else would you put in the game in the 8th inning of a tied game? Ziegler can't pitch every day. Abad? Ross? Barnes? Tazawa? they all suck, which is why my dildo plan needs to happen.

    I am still not sold on him. yes, his overall season stats are good, but this is 2nd year in a row he has gone on an absurd hot streak for 2 months and been complete s*** the rest of the season. i don't know how to judge this guy or what to think.
