    He should never have started the 6th. Cora never seems to spot the danger signs. Not even a pitcher warming up. We have a 3 to 3 inning pitcher here.

    I don't know ow many more innings Weber might have gone with similar restls, but I know that none of our Big 3 can't get past the 3rd or 4th inning without getting hammered. To go on and on repeating the crappy performances of the last 2 months would have to be called just plain stupid.

    Preferably in Sale's next effort. ESPM *******s didn't even mentionspeed of amy pitch. Looked about 94? Threw a lot of strikes, and looked confident. Where the hell has ne been hiding?

    The Yankees and the Rays are 1-2 in baseball's toughest fivision. They are the only 2 teans that I know of that have invented and practiced the "3 or 4 pitchers per game"standard. Each pitcher different in style. Playing the other teams strentth and style/ (Micley Mouse cpuld handle the Moreland-Bradley-Leon threesome)

    What possible excuse do Alex Cora & Co. have for pitching Chris Sale again? They aren't blind, they arent stupid. Inexperienced? The guy is, and never was, a "pitcher". And is no longer a "thrower" I go back to McKechnie, Stengal, etc. I None of those people would have continued using him as a starter. Not since Not since the first of May! I was a big rooter for A;ex. Now I wonder what happened! Yes his pitching STAFF has fallen apart, but he didn't even see it coming!

    IMO, Alex has gone totally L/R crazy. Because they bat laefty, we have a bottom third of the batting order hittimg a combinrd .215. Add to that, Sandy Leon is no longer a first class catcher! AB is one thing, this threesome is another!

    Start with Sandy, Moreland and at least 5 pitchers. Bring some guys up and push the re-start button. Hire someone who can say, "Raph, they know you're over anxious, can't wait to clobber that fisrt pitch." Put a chart on the wall Let in Scoring Position" I wonder why!

    The owners will have to take one huge dollar hit at some point. Might as well do it now. It's not like these giys have been in a little slump. It's pretty much a matter of their having been arounf too long/ Big mistakes were made, so Henry either walks away, or bites the bullet.

    They might try the 3-4 pitchers/game. But having 3 starting pitchers who can't get past the 5th inning is quite an obstacle. It is a little remindful of some the '50s and 60s pitching staffs.

    What's the difference between a Solid 1 and a solid 3. A pitcher is done after innings, he's not a starting pitcher (not on my team, anyway!) If this team goes on to playoff berth, it won't be because of Sale OR Price!
