    Yes, Martha, commom sende demanded tgat Bogie be bunted into 3rd base. I believe that was the 4th "man on 2nd, bo outs" situation tonight. The first 3 I can understand. NOT THIS ONE!

    Note: One of the announcers erred in reporting the number of games remaining. There are 37, including this game tonight (Tues.) and the suspended game on Thursday.

    The Boston Braves were in last place on the 4th of July 1914, and WON IT ALL! And that was back when they played only 154 games.. It is not impossible. One really good winning streak does it!

    As opposing pitching staffs get weaker, our incredible offense gets even stronger/ We can easliy tahe 30 of these remaing games. Our NEW and revised staff will feature EROD (5 innings every 4TH day) and a take your pick batc of 2-3 inning pitchers. Maybe Price kpinns EROD for 4 day, 5 inning stints, but it will look something like that. Tonight, Tuesday, against Philly may be the toughest game wee see for the next week or so.     I believe the Sox will make the playoffs. 2 out of 3 from the Philies is almost a must. But as we head into the "easer Pitching" seaspn. I can see the opposing pitchiing staffs coming back to our staff, and the huge advantage we have in offense will be the difference. SUGGESTIONS1: ERod on 4 day routine. 5 innings, each, max. Price on 5 day routing, 4 innings, max Purcell a;so on 5 day with 3 innings max Rest of the routines Pick, em", 3 - 4 innings, max. Take Trout put of the picture, and we have 4 of the BEST HITTERS in the A,ERICAN LEAGUE! C'MPM, MAN!!!!

    When is DD going to find another catcher? Sandy Leon is dome. He can't hit, and now he can't seem to hold on to the ball if it isn't dead center! Eck is still making excuses for him!

    One day in the early to mid-1930s, my father took me to a Braves-Reds game at Braves Field. Ernie Lombardi hit a ball so hard it barlY cleared Rabbit Maranville's glove (SS) and then rattled off the bottom of the LF fence. My dad told my mother that I sat there with my mouth open for 5 minutes. Along comes Raphael Devers. MOVE OVER, ERNIE!

    Very funny. We're 6 1/2 games behind Tampa Bay, and 15 behind the Yankees. And we leas the league in runs scored. And you are happy to "stay the course".

    Your starting pitcher is scheduled, and noted by the oppoosing manager. You know his starting lineup. He does not have 12 second basemen. You have flexibility.
