    Holt's an enigma. He stays aggressive forover a mionth, then all of a sudden he's back looking for a walk. Mookie has the same disease. They are afraid if they swing at the first pitch and pop it up they will be guilty of helping the pitcher with his pitch count. I don't givea s*** about pitch counts, just middle of the plate fastballs. Law of Averages will always work out. Good pitchers are noteable for FIRST PITCH STRIKES. Make 'em pay.

    Holt' full years averages mean Holt's yearly averages mean nothing. He's a differunt hitter today than he EVER was! Want averages? Take a look at the last 15 days or a month. AND HE'S ON THE f***ING BENCH!

    Neither Holt nor Devers hs been the same hitter the past month that they were earlie in the year. This lefty-righty ******** is over done. FACT, Cora: Your hottest hitter for the past 3 ir 4 weeks has bee Holt and Devers, in that order. If Kinsler an Nunez don't come with 4 hits berween them, than you've made another dumb call.

    Neither Ho Neither Holt or Devers were the same hitters in September than they were in the earlier part of the season. I put Holt in the classic "Born Again" category.

    ??? How many games was Devers responsible for losing because he messed up a ground ball or made a bad throw? Probably none. How many games were positively affected with his bat? C'omon man!

    Holt's a young player? He's been the best hitter on the tema for at least the last 2 weeks---maybe 3!

    Last 16 games-- Holt---.,415 with 5 HR Devers---.245 with 5 HR Sitting on the bench, even acains righties ???? Maybe Cora is in a Coma. This is not like him. Not at all like him!

    This is the FIRST time all year that I have questioned a Cora linep. But this is unreal. Where the hell are Devers and Holt against this right hander? I am puzzled, to say the least. Come on, Alex!

    Looks good to me!. Alitttle surprised Holt isn't in there, but then, what does the game mean? Look sees? Pitcher warm=ups?

    It's almost a Tiger comparison (well. likeness anyway). People turn on the golf tourny to watch Tiger, and they tirn on the ballgame to watch Mookie!

    A month ago, I thought this a pretty good race between 4 guys. Now I can see it beingif, not a runaway, a reasonably sure thing. There is no part of the game in which Mookie does not excel. At least the equal of all contnders. And then it;s matter of who he is, and I think that sinches it.

    I can't tell you what the full roster, but here's what the lineup vs a RH pitcher shoyld look like: Mookie--- CF Benny---- LF JD-------- PH Bohie---- SS Holt----- 2B Decers-- 3B Moreland 1B Catcher JBK-------CF

    In Lefty Groves first 8 full years he threw 175 complete games. In Bob Feller's first 8 full years he threw 184 complete games. WHY? Ted Williams would have told us why. Kids were not taught how to throw a slider! (But, man, you should have seen their fastballs, and big, sharp, curve balls!

    I am even more surprised by his fielding. The power and confidence has always been their, but he's making acrbatic plays nearly every game. Acccording to the press, Cora can take credit for his new and better hitting approach.

    If you charted Bogaerts' progress, as an ALL-AROUND shortstop, it would look like 10 after 8. Steady until his offense, defense and base running have made him easily the best SS in baseball. Well dome, Bogey!
