They stuck it to the Xox---but good! I don't know about you, butI think there was an attempt to "even things up".
I hope the wives and kids will know these fells when they finally get home.
We'll have 2 o3 guys on the bench that will play a lotof innings. Cora did a pretty good job of giving guys good rest. He'll shuffle a lot, just like last year. I just think it would be funto scrable the hitting orfer. I don't think it will make much different.
Jimmie Foxx was in the lineup when I saw my first RS game, And this is the most complete team pitching, hitting, an defense, that I have ever seen start the season.
2019 may be heralded as 'the year of the romp." Let's make it interesting.
Every once in awhile, randomly, toss 9 names thenine names in a hat and draw; one by one. We'll still be more likely to win than lose.
And give the game a little more sparkle and INTEREST.
I watched in horror the Alabama-Clemson game, What i if NESN decides on feeds and broadcast this STUPID We had 2/3 of the screen showing the gam,e and 1/3 of the screen filled with announcers who couldn't shut up! Who is the moron that thought that this will go over with ANY audience? I kept thinking: if baseball does this I hope I know about before I call in my ExtraInnings subscription!
I've seen and followed them all since Joe Cronin. The debate as to his being the best Red Sox manager ever, is anchient history. Now the conversation can begin, will he eventually be considerd the best of them all. Incuding McGraw, Stengel, McCarthy, etc.
The job he did this year was mind-boggling!
I trust Cora also. Best Manager we EVER had! That's why it seems strange, And I wasn't thniking about 3B! Devers should be there every game. I was thinking about 2B where he has looked pretty good--considering his bat.
This may have been discussed before, but my advabed macro degeneration has kept me from scrolling as much as I once fif.
Re/Holf. Sems strange his hot bat has not been utilized (?)
Firat base is the obvious move.
Also interesting; What about Devers? I wouldn't bench him either!!! The Dodhers starting pitching is heavy on lefties isn't it? I don't care who is pitching, I would rather see this kid at the plate right now than Nunez or anyone else. He's been "coming" fast!
Early in the season (maybe late April) I posted an opinion on Cora. I said (ahem) that Alex Cora would eventually become the best Red Sox manager of all time. Can somebody find that post? Anyway, I WAS RIGHT!
Unless I've missed something, the Dodger's pitching is heavy in Lefties. I didn't bother checking the Brewes, 1) I can't see them winning, and 2) It couldn't be any more lefty than the Dodgers!
Think Radatz (He who does not lear history is doomed to repeat it." Both He and Sale have ams that are not just tired. They may be totally shot, at least for this season. The writing has been on the wall for a month, now.
But, with this lineup? We'll manage!!!!!
Besides, the other "contenfers" are having the sale problems! Even Verlander? We'll find out tonight!
