  1. Not bad. I might go... (not what I think Sps will be) 1. Mayer 2. Anthony 3. Bleis 4. Rafaela 5. Teel 6. Joh Garcia 7. Cespedes 8. Wikelman 9. Yorke 10. Perales 11. Meidroth 12. Romero 13. Drohan 14. Zanetello 15. Valdez 16. Murphy 17. Walter 18. Hickey 19. Rodriguez Cruz 20. Abreu 21. Jordan 22. Paulino 23. Mata 24. Castro 25. L Guerrero 26. Y Monegro 27. C Coffey 28. D Hamilton 29. I Coffey 30. G Gambrell
  2. 4-10 vs TBR & BAL 52-37 vs everyone else. The real killer is... 0-9 vs PIT, STL, MIA and 2-10 vs PIT, STL, COL, CWS
  3. "My boy Casas," lmao. You refused to call him a prospect- only a "suspect," and just 3 weeks ago, you posted: Casas, and Duvall doesn’t deserve to be in the lineup all the time, and neither does Kike. 6/26: "My eyes are good enough to tell me that Casas doesn’t have much of a clue on playing 1B, and while his hitting has improved he is not anyone I would want to give a long term Braves like contract to... All I’m saying is that there had better be a backup plan. What’s the backup plan at 1B outside of Turner for now?" Next, you'll be saying you loved the Yoshida signing and felt it was a good money deal from day one. Go back in hiding. It suits you better.
  4. Scherzer to TEX. Another pre-deadline day trade.
  5. In was being kind. We all know it was no coincidence.
  6. I’m never one to count on most recent data as the best predictor of what comes next. Houck and Whitlock are both good pitchers with nasty stuff. They may struggle: they may not. I’m going to be optimistic until they prove me wrong.
  7. I thought so, too, and very coincidental.
  8. Not even understanding what “pink hats” means and continually getting prospect ages and games played way wrong is annoying and a waste of time. That is unwelcome to me.
  9. Yorke could also be moved to OF or at worst, DH. It’s too early to worry about 2025 logjams.
  10. You better throw in Yorke to get a good one.
  11. It’s not about his opinions. I’ll welcome any opinions.
  12. The only argument that is still valid might be, he could have gotten better returns, not “I wish we still had _____ instead of ______.”
  13. DD deserves credit, for sure, even if he barely knew who these guys were his last year here. As it turned out, keeping Devers and these guys you listed look to be better than all the 20+ top prospects he traded away. Thanks DD!!!
  14. Allowed, yes. Welcome? Why?
  15. Some classic quotes from the Stork... The final Bloom season starting out with a bang! Predicted win loss record 73 89. Garbage GM continues to bring in the garbage/ Team has not improved/ Up the middle is non existent/ Complete embarrassment to the fans/ Priceless Duran for Berrios (editor notez: Berrios sucked for the remainder of those control yrs)
  16. What "controlled pitcher" do you get for Dugo? Not many teams are looking to trade good and controlled pitching for a 1.3 year good but not great OF'er.
  17. He may want to keep Chang with the lefty IF'er not Arroyo, but that would be much more likely if they played Story at 2B not SS, but that ain't happening.
  18. You don't have to convince me. Drafting Yorke also allowed more slot money for Drohan & Jordan, who might end up being pretty good, if Yorke flounders.
  19. I really like Duvall, but I think he will be the odd man out. (I said this weeks ago, too.) That being said, when Story returns, there is not room on the 26 and maybe even 40 for... Story Chang Arroyo Reyes LH'd trade addition Maybe, we trade Arroyo. I'd rather play Chang than CA.
  20. If we trade Dugo or Duvall, we still have 4 OF'ers. An injury would force us to play Ref, everyday. You do have to plan for these things, but right now, we have mega injuries to our staff, especially the rotation. That is known and needs to be fixed. I'm not for handing Dugo or Duvall away. I'd want to see the deal, before I'd say, let's do it out of a positional surplus. Other teams need OF help way more than we do. Other teams are willing to trade pitching. A third team may need to be involved to add prospects to the team trading away pitching, as not many contenders are trading away good pitchers. If we can get a better and longer controlled pitcher by adding an OF'er, I'd consider it. I would not trade Dugo for a rental.
  21. He's still mad we drafted him so highly.
  22. Other teams face the same schedule. We have not played less games than them. We all have the same amount of games and days left. IMO, our depth, and the fact that Cora as rested our players more than many wished he would, it is to our advantage we play many games in fewer days than before. Add to this, we just got Schreiber Chang and Reyes back and Duvall has recovered, and more players are returning soon, I'm happy we play 48n games in 50 days.
  23. He goes out of his way to make it more difficult for others to read.
  24. We have 5 batters in the top 20 in MLB OPS since June 30th (70+ PAs) Casas is #1 at 1.281 1.087 Duran 1.044 Devers 1.010 Yoshida 1.009 Turner Wong is at .831 in 64 Pas .814 Duvall in 61 .791 Refsnyder in 35
