if he is raking on his rehab vs LHP than the following players need to take turns sitting vs LHP: Beni x 2 JBj Papi and if betts needs a blow he can sit for a game. if young is not raking then he can rot.

so recently we had the discussion about the 1pm start time in Detroit and whether or not it was "fair". it was discussed that the home team (and not MLB baseball) has the final say on start times. if that is the case, could the Red Sox have a 3:33 am start time at Fenway if they wanted to?

agreed. if he comes into any ballgame where we are +/- 3 runs, JF should be ready to pull him after 1 batter gets on. hit, walk, error...i dont care. 1 and done....

maybe once no team meets this "requirement" he can revisit a rest of year contract with the Sox.

i think at one point he had 4 dingers in 6 games. and he has avoided the successive "0-fers" that had plagued him in past slumps. but his BA/OPS have fallen off a cliff in august....hopefully we see one of those epic JBj hot streaks very soon.....
