    while i find your response fair, your hesitancy to remove catcher signs from the game based on "tradition" made me wonder what your thoughts are on some other baseball "traditions" that have been changed over the years. based on your reply i am guessing you are OK with all those other changes but are now taking a stand on catcher signs?

    K rate % 2018 - Home Games (#coragate) 1st number = men in scoring position (possibly a runner on 2nd / 2nd and 3rd / bases loaded / runner on 3rd only) 2nd number = no one on base (2nd base unoccupied). Mookie: 7.8 / 16.7 X-Bo: 14.0 / 20.0 Devers: 27.9 / 19.3 Beni: 8.8 / 12.6 JDM: 23.3 / 23.8 Mitchy: 22.7 / 25.9 JBj: 24.0 / 26.8 5 players with higher k rate with no possible runner on 2b. 1 player with lower k rate with no possible runner on 2b. 1 player with no significant difference with no possible runner on 2b. definitely smoke.

    so let me ask you this....what makes investigating anti trust laws "political"? and for arguments sake lets say the investigation is political - what makes it a D vs R thing? the last time the Senate got involved with baseball - steroid investigation George W. Bush was president and William Frist was senate majority leader(both R's). Was Frist a "nut" too? pointing out that congress/senate may get involved with MLB anti trust law isn't turning this thread "political". it is simply pointing out a fact. there is 1 poster that took this discussion political - and it was you.

    on MLB.com i can get home vs away total stats but not with runner on 2b....
